Thornham

6 June, 11am to 5pm

Visitors will be able to explore a selection of beautiful private gardens across this coastal village, with a minibus running between locations to make it easy to get around. Thornham Jubilee Meadows will also be included this year – while always open to the public, trustees will be on hand during the event to share the vision behind the project, along with its aims and future plans. There will be a barbecue lunch and bar at the village hall, plus children’s crafts, a treasure trail across the gardens, a plant stall, and tea, coffee and cake at All Saints Church. Parking available at the village hall and on The Green. Tickets (£5) and maps available from the village hall, the church and The Green.

Ringstead

7 June, 11am to 5pm

It is hoped that around 15 gardens will open to the public with a flower festival in St Andrew’s Church (6 to 8 June, 10am to 5pm) also adding to the appeal. Two-course lunches, which must be prebooked on 07771 434616, cost £17.50 and are served from noon to 2pm, plus teas, served from 2pm to 5pm, are available in the village hall. Add in live music, cake and produce stalls, a raffle and a plant sale stall. There is also a free minibus around the gardens. Admission is £7.50 for adults, with accompanied under 12s allowed in for free. Proceeds are going to the village church and tickets are available at the gardens.

Wiveton Wander

13 June, 11am to 5pm

Around 10 gardens are opening to the public, including the one at Wiveton Hall. There will be a Pimm’s tent, tea and cakes plus Emma Bridgewater/Matthew Rice Wiveton Church mugs will be on sale alongside a selection of plants. Expect a vintage car display and a small ecological market garden, too. Admission is £5, (tickets on the day from Wiveton Green). Proceeds are going to the Wiveton Church Restoration Fund.

Old Hunstanton

14 June, 10am to 4pm

This year sees around 10 gardens opening, all with different styles including classic cottage examples. Admission is £5 for adults and proceeds are going to the village hall and village church, St Mary’s, with tickets available at both venues. Refreshments, including lunches, are being served in the village hall, and there are a selection of stalls selling a wide range of plants and gardening related products. 

Thornage

14 June, 11am to 4pm

Around 10 gardens are opening including a kitchen garden and plants, grown by villagers, will be on sale, too. Admission is £5 and proceeds are going to improve village facilities. Teas and refreshments are being served in All Saints Church where tickets are also available.

Stanhoe

20 June, 2pm to 5.30pm

Eight gardens are expected to open in this pretty village with its duck pond. There will be a Pimm’s stall, cream teas at the village hall, and the popular cake stall and plant stall. Tickets are £7.50, available at the church and village hall, with under 12s allowed in for free. Proceeds are going to the village church, All Saints.

Great Ryburgh

20 June, 1pm to 5pm

Around 10 gardens are opening this year from formally designed ones to classy courtyard examples. All proceeds are going to St Andrew’s Church and admission is £5, with under 12s allowed in for free. Many of the gardens are offering teas and cakes. Tickets are available at both the church and village hall. No dogs.

Cley-next-the-Sea

20 and 21 June, noon to 4pm

Around 14 gardens in a variety of styles are expected to open for this popular event, raising funds for the continuation of Cley harbour restoration and The Norfolk Charitable Trust’s Wheelyboat Poppy. Stop for a pit stop on your way round at village shops and eateries. Tickets £5 on the day from the village hall, accompanied under 12s free.

West Raynham

28 June, 11am to 4pm

It is hoped that 13 gardens will open to the public, small and large, formal and informal. Admission is £5, with accompanied children admitted for free. Refreshments are available in the village hall and proceeds are going to Guide Dogs for the Blind and towards planting bulbs in the village’s children’s playing field. There will also be plants, craft and art sales.

Holme-next-the-Sea

5 July, 11am to 4.30pm

A free bus service will run between the 10 open gardens to save your legs a little, and refreshments are planned in the village hall. Admission is £5, with accompanied children allowed in for free. Proceeds are going to the village church and tickets are available in the village hall and car park. Look out for the highly popular plant stall with its wide selection of plants on offer. The event is organised by the Help Holme Church Group, and dogs on leads are welcome.
